Swimming pool |
Our indoor swimming pool has been open since Feb 1998 with additional features of a steam room, sauna and spa. The pool is heated to around 30 degrees and is now purified using Ozone-the only pool in Newbury using this system which provides a much cleaner and better-looking pool with no chlorine smells after the shower!!.
We provide a predominantly adult theme pool where children can swim at specific times. Our pool timetable is scheduled so that adults can delight in adults only lane swimming sessions and families can enjoy separate after school and weekend sessions of fun and activity in the pool. All children must swim under the close supervision of their parents at family swim times.
The pool progamme includes aqua aerobics classes where you can have a low impact workout in the relaxing comfort of water. We run an extensive programme of Junior Swimming Classes under the expert and experienced tuition of Amanda Simpson and adult lessons and coaching are available in group or on an individual basis. All of these are under professional instruction with emphasis on fun.
Every Friday evening our moonlight swim offers that special end of week de-stress session. We turn on underwater pool lights and dim all the pool hall lighting, add a little music and leave you to float around and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere created.
To help you relax after your workout, you have the chance to wind down in our steam, sauna and spa bath facilities.
