If you are daunted or demotivated working in the gym or exercising alone, why not try one of our many studio classes. Classes vary in intensity so whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced standard there is a class to suite everyone.

Our studio timetable offers a mix of pilates, yoga, weight and cardio workout sessions, including well know classes such as Body Attack, and Body Pump.

            Non-members are welcome to attend for £5.00 per class, or buy a block of 10 classes for just £45.

Class Descriptions

SPINNING - A form of high intensity exercise using a stationary cycle, simulating all forms of terrain. A great form of aerobic activity, which can burn up to 600 calories per class.

MONDAY MOTIVATOR - The class starts with an aerobic warm up and stretch and works through a series of time sessions rotating cardio vascular, strength and endurance disciplines with aerobic intervals throughout.

GYM CLASS - This is a circuit class held in the gym and is a must for all gym new comers. It is especially suitable for beginners, those returning to fitness and the over 50's.

AQUA AEROBICS - An excellent class for all levels of fitness. The resistance provided by the water ensures a great low impact workout with less delayed onset muscle soreness. We now run a beginners class on Fridays for all aqua newcomers.

BODY PUMP -is proven to be the world's fastest way to get in shape, using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat burning. All the major muscle groups are worked via a series of weight-bearing exercises including squats, presses and lifts.

KICKBOXING - Is a dynamic and effective sport combining boxing and martial arts. Our instructor is highly experienced and makes this class great fun.

YOGA - Is an ancient system of breathing practices, physical exercises, postures and meditation. Yoga is a very popular and well-known exercise class open to all abilities.

BODY ATTACK - A cardio vascular interval training class, combining high intensity aerobics with strength and stabilisation exercises. Body Attack is a rapid calorie burner that delivers fast improvement in general endurance and an increase in overall body strength.

PILATES - Suitable for all levels of fitness, it's aimed at improving your posture and toning your weaker muscles. Pilates is excellent for helping to relieve back pain and is recommended by osteopaths.

STUDIO CLASS - This is a circuit class suitable for all beginners and over 50's. This class has a more relaxed atmosphere and is a great introduction to other classes.

STEP - A fantastic step workout, takes you through combinations that will challenge your mind as well as your body. It is a dynamic workout for all levels that is easy to follow that works to improve general fitness as well as tone muscles and burn calories.

BACK TO BASICS - This varied studio class is suitable for all beginners and over 50's that utilises step, aerobics, conditioning and stretch.

CORE CONDITIONING - This new class focuses on strengthening and conditioning of the lower back and abdominal muscles. Incorporating Pilate's exercise and core muscle strengthening, this class is ideal to tone or strengthen their back and stomach.

SHAPE & TONE - Incorporating a series of body conditioning and resistance exercises, this class is designed to shape and tone the body. A gentle calorie burning class suitable for all abilities and ages.

THUMP- boxercise - A great form of muscular strength and endurance exercise designed to rapidly improve fitness. This is a non-choreographed, circuit based class designed to aid weight loss and improve balance, coordination and core stability in a fun and relaxed environment.
